About Us
Why are we doing this?
We are a Somerset based Company and are keen supporters and contributors of recycling in our home town of Taunton. We own a local Retail Store which stocks, sells and actively promotes the use of biodegradable/compostable food waste liners to assist our local Council with their kerbside food waste collection and recycling initiatives.
We see this as an opportunity for us to play a part and for others to join in the task of improving and conserving our local environment. Over time we hope to help change attitudes, habits and ways of thinking about how best to recycle our 'personal' waste. Food waste is a huge contributor to our environmental problems we now face, yet by far the easiest to solve. The products on this internet site are designed to help us all manage our food waste. Unfortunately we do not have a choice afterall we cannot expect to continue to abuse the environment as we have for generations, we must look and think about the world we intend to leave for our children, and future generations of their children.
With the above in mind ....
We aim to make readily and quickly available at a realistic cost via an ecommerce website biodegradable/compostable food waste liners/bags and associated products to the general public and wholesale to business sectors, ensuring that all products comply with the relevant current and future laws, standards, specification and certification.
Our activities will align and adjust with the recycling/composting operational aspects of Government, Local Council Authorities, Businesses and individuals who operate recycling/composting initiatives within the United Kingdom, In turn helping to improve and conserve the environment.
Our promise to the environment and you - We will package your valuable order for liners (corn starch or paper) in a biodegradable paper liner which you will be able to use in either your small or large caddy, or if possible ZERO packaging to help reduce environmental impact. Where possible we will not use anything in our ordering or delivery process that is not biodegradable nor use anything we cannot use again and again.
